Gold is the premium currency of Travian: Legends and serves as the foundation for most optional upgrades and conveniences in the game.
Gold Transfers
When you finish a game round or delete your avatar while still holding purchased, unspent Gold, you receive a Gold Transfer Link. This link allows you to transfer the Gold to a different avatar. It might be owned by you or by someone else. However, there are limitations for some game worlds. Tournament game worlds only accept Gold from avatars on Tournament. Gold from PTR may only be transferred to PTR. And Gold from Alpler may only be transferred to Alpler.
When you use a Gold Transfer Link, first step requires a confirmation of the email address. Make sure you enter the exact address where you received the GTL email.
If you encounter an error “One or more players found on a game world excluded by our rules”, that means there is an avatar with the selected name on a game world that cannot accept Gold from the link you are using (see the limitations described above).
Spending and Refunds
Gold spent on premium features — production bonuses, Travian Plus, NPC Merchant access, and so on — is non-refundable once used. There is one narrow exception: if you accidentally activated the same premium feature multiple times for a long duration, Customer Service may be able to cancel activations whose period has not yet started. This must be handled promptly after the mistake; contact support directly when it happens.
There is no in-game log showing how much Gold you have spent on a game world. You can, however, find a full list of your purchases in the Gold shop's order history.
Travian Plus and Other Premium Features
Travian Plus is a time-limited subscription that you purchase with Gold. It lasts 7 days on x1 game worlds and 3 days on faster speeds. If your Plus membership seems to have disappeared, it has most likely simply expired. You can re-activate it in the Gold shop under the Advantages tab, where you can also see the remaining duration on an active subscription. Enabling the "extend automatically" option ensures it renews continuously as long as you have Gold available.
It is worth noting that resources themselves cannot be purchased directly with Gold, nor can Gold be converted into resources. Gold unlocks tools that help you gather resources more efficiently — such as the production bonus or the NPC Merchant, which lets you freely exchange between resource types — but the resources themselves must be earned through production or trade.
