Your hero is one of the most versatile tools in Travian: Legends, serving as a fighter, battle leader enhancing your troops and adventure-seeker all at once. Understanding how to manage them efficiently makes a meaningful difference in your progression.
Appearance Customisation
Your hero's appearance is entirely cosmetic and can be changed freely at any point in the game. In the Appearance tab of the hero screen, you can adjust gender, skin colour, hair colour, eye colour, and other visual elements. Changes can be made as often as you like. There is no feature to activate a "classic" Travian skin; the appearance options are limited to what is available in the hero screen.
Hero Inventory and Resources
Resources gained from tasks, adventures, and animal bounty are stored directly in the hero's inventory alongside other items. To transfer them into your active village, open the hero screen and click or tap on the resources in the inventory. If you want to add those resources to a different village instead, first switch to that village, then open the inventory and use the resources from there.
When the hero's adventure page or inventory shows a blank or broken display, the most common fix is clearing your browser cache and cookies (for browser players) or clearing the app cache (for mobile players). If the issue persists after that, contact Customer Service.
Cage Items
Cages are a special hero item found in adventures or purchased at auction. When a hero equipped with cages attacks an oasis that contains animals, the outcome changes: instead of a normal battle, the hero captures the animals in the cages. Those animals are then kept in the village the hero was sent from, where they fight as defenders. Caged animals cannot be moved to another village or sent on attacks.
Adventures
On all game worlds that started since 20 November 2025, hero adventures are available from any village with the same travel duration. You no longer need to move your hero to a specific village to do adventures efficiently.
