What is Travian: Legends?

_Travian: Legends_ is a free browser-based **Build & Raid strategy game**. You begin with a small village in an ancient European world and grow it into a thriving empire through clever **economic, military, and diplomatic** decisions. Every choice you make affects not just your own progress, but also the world around you — and other players.

### Your Choices Matter

Your very first decision already shapes your playstyle — choosing your **tribe**.  
In _Travian: Legends_, you can play as one of six unique tribes, each with their own strengths and strategy preferences:

-   **Huns** or **Teutons** – Best for aggressive players who enjoy raiding and early combat.
    
-   **Egyptians** or **Gauls** – Strong defensive tribes with good economic potential.
    
-   **Romans** – Balanced all-rounders, ideal for long-term planners who shine in the mid and endgame.
    
-   **Spartans** – Known for units with an excellent balance of power and crop consumption, crucial for later stages.

### The Game is Played in Rounds

Each game world runs for a limited time — called a **round**.  
When it ends, winners are announced and the world resets. After that, players re-register for a new round and start fresh.

This cycle keeps the game exciting, giving you the chance to:

-   Try new **tribes**
    
-   Experiment with different **strategies**
    
-   Play on different **server speeds** (e.g., faster rounds for more active play)

### First Steps

Once you register, you start as the leader of a small village surrounded by others.  
Your first goal is to **build a foundation** for your empire.
