# How to Earn Gold

How to Earn Gold

You can get gold without (or before) spending money. Use the options below to build a steady gold supply.

## 1\. Refer a Friend

Invite new players and earn gold as they grow:

-   Villages 2–9 of your invitee: **20 gold each** (8×20 = 160).
    
-   Village 10 of your invitee: **40 gold**.
    
-   You can receive each milestone reward **up to 10 times** (for 10 different invitees).
    
-   **Total possible:** **2,000 gold**.  
    If a friend later loses a village, you **keep** the reward already earned. 
    

## 2\. Use the Auction (Silver → Gold)

-   Exchange rate: **200 silver = 1 gold** (shown in the Exchange Office UI on page 3).
    
-   Early game, sell **consumables** you don’t need (especially **cages** and **ointments**) to generate starter silver.
    
-   Found a valuable item early? Consider selling it now—prices often fall once **Tier 2/3** items appear, and you can usually buy back cheaper later.
    
-   Smart, timely gold use typically beats holding a single strong hero item. 
    

## 3\. One-Time Offer (Low-cost Starter Pack)

-   Appears after a few hours up to a day of active play (depends on server speed).
    
-   Great value for early momentum.
    
-   **Non-transferable**: gold from this offer can only be used on the **gameworld where it was bought**.
    
-   Availability window: **24 hours**.
