Culture Points (CP) determine how many villages you can settle or conquer in Travian: Legends.
You gain them by constructing and upgrading buildings. You can view your total CP and daily production in your Administration Building. Generating enough CP is key to expanding your empire — more villages mean more production, more troops, and greater strategic power.
There are three main ways to earn culture points:
Using Artworks - Consumed via your hero’s inventory.
Holding Celebrations - Small and Great Celebrations in the Townhall provide CP boosts.
Increasing Passive Culture Point Production
This method gives steady, automatic CP each day — no action needed after setup.
Passive CP refers to culture points generated daily by your buildings and resource fields.
It is the foundation of your account’s long-term expansion and should be developed in all resource villages, not just your capital. Even if you’re not focusing on celebrations or artifacts, every resource village can contribute valuable CP through its building layout.
Every resource (non-specialized) village has 22 building slots.
Here’s a proven example layout for maximizing passive culture point generation:

Brickworks | 5 | 2 |
Iron Foundry | 5 | 2 |
Sawmill | 5 | 2 |
Flour Mill | 5 | 2 |
Bakery | 5 | 2 |
Subtotal | — | 10 CP |
Total (approximate): Over 1,000 CP/day
Each level 10 resource field adds ~6 CP/day (croplands ~5 CP).
You’ll still have 2 open building slots left — perfect for customizing your layout.
Depending on your strategy, use the remaining spaces for specialized support:
GoalSuggested BuildingCP (example level) | ||
Faster troop movement | Tournament Square (Lv.10) | +6 |
Oasis capture | Hero’s Mansion (Lv.10) | +6 |
Reinforcement storage | Granary or Great Granary (Lv.20) | +38 |
Artifact or Wonder support | Treasury (Lv.10 → Lv.20) | +37 → +230 |
You don’t always need level 20 Barracks or Smithy right away — balance between troop count and upgrade levels to get the best return.
Remove buildings when no longer needed:
After researching units in the Smithy or Academy, you can demolish them to free space for Warehouses or Granaries without losing progress.
Walls provide hidden value:
Every village with a wall gains not only defense but also better scout protection.
Keep scouts in every village:
100 scouts per village is the minimum for warnings; key villages should have 500–1000.
Choose good oasis locations:
Oases nearby increase your overall production, indirectly supporting faster CP generation.
Passive culture point generation is a low-effort, high-reward investment that steadily expands your empire’s growth potential.
To optimize:
Include high-CP buildings in every village.
Maintain balanced development — not all CP must come from your capital.
Replace unneeded structures with Warehouses, Granaries, or other utility buildings when upgrades are complete.
A well-planned passive CP setup ensures you can always settle or conquer new villages when the opportunity arises.
