When you start Travian: Legends, your village is placed under Beginner’s Protection. This gives you a safe window to learn the game, build up resources, and prepare your defenses before facing real attacks.
No troop interactions: While protected, no one can attack, raid, scout, or send reinforcements to you — and you cannot send troops to others either.
Safe trading: You cannot send resources, but you can receive them from players who are no longer under protection.
Marketplace rules:
If you have under 200 population, you can only accept trades that are 1:1 or better.
You can still post worse trades, but no one can accept them — useful as extra storage space.
Attacking exceptions: You can attack Natars and unoccupied oases even while under protection.
No early exit: Protection cannot be ended early.
As your protection nears its end, you’ll see an infobox message offering an extension.
You can extend protection once.
Once protection ends, it’s gone permanently — it cannot be regained.
The length depends on the gameworld speed:
x1 speed: 5 days + 3-day extension
x2 speed: 3 days + 3-day extension
x3 speed: 3 days + 3-day extension
x5 speed: 2 days + 2-day extension
x10 speed: 1 day + 1-day extension
Tip: Use Beginner’s Protection to focus on upgrading your economy, completing quests, and joining an alliance. That way, once it ends, you’ll be ready to defend yourself.
