Alliance management allows leaders to control member rights, coordinate actions, and communicate efficiently within their alliance.
Leaders and players with special permissions can update alliance information, assign roles, and send messages to all members.
Alliance Leader Functions
Alliance leaders (and any members granted rights) can:
Change the alliance name and tag
Assign or remove rights from members
Monitor member activity
Edit the alliance profile and description
Send mass messages (MMs)
Manage forums, flags, and roles
Changing Alliance Name and Tag
Open your Embassy, go to Alliance → Options.
Enter the new Tag (short name) and Name.
Click Save to confirm.
Assigning Rights and Roles
Leaders can delegate specific permissions to trusted members.
To assign rights:
Go to Embassy → Alliance → Options → Assign to position.
Find the member’s name in the list.
Select the rights you want to grant.
Click Save.
Be cautious when assigning the “Assign to position” right — anyone with this permission can revoke your own rights.
Example: The table shows alliance members with checkboxes for each permission, including “Kick player” and “Change description.”

Editing the Alliance Profile
Every alliance has a public profile with two text sections — one on the left and one on the right.
Use this space for alliance rules, contact details, or introductions.
To automatically display diplomacy connections, add:
You can also use these individually:
Specializations
Members with the Manage member specialization right can mark players as:
Offensive players (off)
Defensive players (def)
This not only labels their role in the member list but also enables targeted mass messages to those groups.
Sending Mass Messages (MMs)
Players with the right to send mass messages can quickly reach specific groups.
Use these commands in the message recipient field:
Command | Recipients |
---|---|
[ally] | The message will reach everyone in the alliance. |
[off] | The message will be sent to everyone with offensive specialization |
[def] | The message will be sent to everyone with defensive specialization. |
Alternatively, click the alliance icon next to the message recipient field to automatically insert [ally]
.
Only members with Mass Message permission can use these commands.
The founder has this right by default.
Tips
Distribute rights carefully — too many high-level permissions can cause management issues.
Use specializations to quickly mobilize your alliance for defense or coordinated attacks.
Update your profile and diplomacy details regularly to keep allies and confederates informed.
Use mass messages for event coordination, war alerts, or emergency defense calls.
