Lobby, account and avatar

What is the Lobby?

The Lobby is your main access point to all Travian: Legends gameworlds.
From there, you can:

  • See every world where you play.

  • Manage and invite your duals.

  • Join new worlds without registering by email each time.

You can log in through travian.com — your single entry to Travian: Legends.
Each player has one lobby account, and may have one avatar per gameworld.

Lobby Account vs. Avatar

TermDescription
Lobby AccountYour main Travian account on travian.com. It stores all your avatars and lets you invite duals. Each dual also has their own lobby account.
AvatarYour gameworld profile — including villages, troops, and hero. It’s what used to be called your “account” in-game. Avatars can have sitters (set in-game) and duals (managed in the lobby).

Creating Your Lobby Account Name

When you register, you choose:

  • Username (3–15 characters)

  • Tagline (2–5 characters)

Together they form your unique lobby name (e.g.: Attila#Hun).
The same username can be used by others, but not the same combination.

Tip: Your avatar name (what others see in-game) is separate from your lobby name.

Accessing the Game

You can:

Use your lobby account name or email and password.
You only need one lobby account, even if you play on multiple worlds.
Your lobby remains active even after a world ends.

Managing Duals and Sitters

  • To add a dual, click the blue dual icon next to your gameworld in the lobby.

  • Enter their full lobby account name.

  • They’ll receive an invitation to accept.

Do not share your password — duals have their own login details.
Sharing passwords is against the game rules and unsafe, as it would grant access to all your avatars.

If someone adds you as a dual and you don’t know them, simply decline the invitation.

Changing Your Lobby Email

You can change your email in Lobby Settings (top right corner).
You’ll need access to both your current and new email addresses.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I just share my lobby password with my duals?
No. Sharing passwords is not secure, so we created a way to manage duals in the lobby. Using the lobby to manage duals is safer, as everyone has their own password. Also, if you shared your lobby account password, they would have access to all your avatars on all gameworlds. With the lobby system, you can decide which avatars you share with which duals. Sharing the lobby account password is a violation of the game rules, even if it’s about duals. You cannot share your password with anyone under any circumstances.
  • What’s the difference between an account and an avatar?
Your account is the lobby; your avatar is your in-game presence on a specific world.
  • Can I create more than one lobby account?
No — you should only have one. It covers all your gameworlds.
  • How do I switch from playing on my own avatar to playing on another avatar as dual?
First, start the deletion of your avatar. Already while the deletion is running, you may accept an invitation to play as dual on another avatar. Keep in mind you won't be able to change your mind and go back to your old avatar if you do this. It will not be possible to stop the deletion after you joined another avatar as dual, even if you stop being a dual.
  • Can I give away or move my avatar?
It's not possible to move avatar to a different lobby account.
  • How can I change my lobby account email?
Open the lobby page and access the account settings in the top-right corner. There's an option to change the email address. You need to have access to both the current and the new email addresses to proceed.
  • How secure should my password be?
While simpler passwords work, it’s strongly recommended to use a long and complex one for safety.
  • Can I give away my lobby account?
We advice against doing this, as the lobby account is not just one avatar, but your whole Travian: Legends gaming experience and history, including all gameworlds, medals, tickets written to customer service etc. It is also against the rules doing so.
  • Can I play multiple avatars on one gameworld?
No, you can only play on the gameworld on one avatar – your own or as a dual. However, you can access up to two avatars as a sitter from the avatar you play on.
  • Someone added me as dual, but I don’t know them. What should I do?
When someone adds you as a dual, you receive an invitation. Simply decline it if you don’t want to play as that avatar's dual.
