BB-codes let you format text and insert smart links in alliance pages and in-game messages (e.g., link to coords, players, alliances). Many codes have buttons in the editor; the list below covers the ones you’ll likely type by hand.
Send to groups (message “Recipient” field)
[ally]— send to the whole alliance (requires permission).[off]— send to members marked with the offensive specialization.[def]— send to members marked with the defensive specialization.
Text color
Wrap any text:[colour=red]Warning at (100|-10)[/colour]
Available colors: white, red, yellow, green, blue, purple.
Clickable links
[url=http://example.com]Link name[/url] — creates a clickable link.
Annual Special (regions)
[region]ID or Name[/region] — links to the region page (Annual Special only).
Alliance internal page stats
[stats]strength[/stats]— shows your alliance strength vs. previous data.[stats]fighting points[/stats]— shows attack + defense points gained today.
News feed (alliance activity)
[news]10[/news] — shows recent invitations, joins/leaves, conquests, foundings, losses; number is how many items per page (1–50).
War tracking
[losses]AllianceID[/losses] — summary of your results vs. a specific alliance (troops destroyed, resources stolen).
Tips
Test codes in a draft message or hidden alliance section before announcing widely.
Keep colors for emphasis only; overuse reduces readability.
