Travian Etiquette: Simple Rules for Good Form

Following these community norms isn’t required by game rules, but it earns respect and makes alliances run smoother.

1) Don’t defend after you take over

If you’ve just chiefed an inactive village, taken a Natar village, or conquered an unoccupied oasis, don’t defend against raids already on the way. Those spots aren’t considered fair battlefields once taken.

2) Feed your reinforcements

When you send reinforcements, supply crop to the defended village for as long as your troops stay there.
On worlds with forwarding, also cover crop for the time they’ll be forwarded or travel back, unless the request says otherwise.

3) Don’t overbid your allies

Avoid outbidding items in the auction if the seller/bidder is in your alliance or confederacy. If you urgently need something (e.g., a bucket), message the bidder and agree on it.

4) Tell leadership if you’re leaving

If you decide to quit before the world ends, inform your leadership and align an exit plan.
On Annual Special worlds this matters even more — your villages may hold a region or many Victory Points.
