Sometimes your starting position in Travian: Legends isn’t ideal. Maybe your spawn location is poor, or you chose the wrong tribe or map quarter. Don’t worry — you can abandon your avatar and respawn with a fresh start.
When Can You Respawn?
You can only respawn if all of the following are true:
- The gameworld is still open for registration
- Your avatar is not scheduled for deletion
- Your avatar is not banned
- You are still under Beginner’s Protection
- The Auction House is not fully unlocked (your hero hasn’t completed enough adventures yet)
- You only have one village
- You are the account owner (sitters and duals cannot use respawn)
How to Respawn
- Click the cogwheel icon (top corner).
- Open the Avatar tab.
- Find the “Respawn Avatar” option.
- Type respawn in the confirmation field.
- Choose your map quarter, tribe, and avatar name. - You can reuse the same avatar name if you like.

After confirming, your old avatar is abandoned and you receive a brand-new village in a fresh spot. Progress is not transferred — you restart from scratch.
What Happens to Gold?
- 150 Gold Starter Promo: Not transferable.
- Purchased Gold: Unspent Gold is automatically transferred to your new avatar, including converted time from Travian Plus and resource bonuses (if bought with transferable Gold).
- Gold Club: If purchased with transferable Gold, it also transfers to your new avatar.
What Happens to the Old Avatar?
- If your avatar was created less than 1 hour ago, it is deleted immediately.
- If older, it is removed from your lobby account (you can’t access it anymore) but remains in the game world until it’s deleted automatically later.
- If you use the same avatar name, the old one’s name is automatically changed to avoid duplicates.
✅ Tip: Respawning is a great way to restart quickly if you feel stuck — especially in your first game. Use it early while you’re still under protection!
