Villages in Travian: Legends can be completely destroyed through sustained attacks that reduce their population to zero. When this happens, the process is often called “zeroing” a village.
What Is “Zeroing”?
A village is considered zeroed when its population reaches 0.
This is achieved by destroying all buildings, fields, and walls using catapults and rams.
Once a village’s population hits zero, it usually disappears from the map and turns into an abandoned valley, which can then be resettled.
However, there are exceptions. A village cannot be destroyed if it is:
A World Wonder village (World Wonder)
A village holding an artefact that has not been stolen (Artefacts)
The player’s last remaining village (excluding World Wonder villages and 18-croppers)
Destroying nearby rival villages is often a strategic move to clear space for expansion or reduce enemy influence.
How to Destroy a Village
Use Catapults to demolish buildings and resource fields.
Use Rams to destroy the walls protecting the village.
Continue attacking until all structures are destroyed and population reaches zero.

How to Prevent Village Destruction
You can reduce the risk of your village being destroyed by:
Building as many population-giving structures as possible.
This increases total population and makes it harder for attackers to zero your village.Constructing a Stonemason’s House (if your village is the capital).
This building improves the durability of all other structures. This is especially important when settling in the Grey Area (Natars zone) on normal servers, where Natar attacks occur frequently.
What Happens to Zeroed Villages That Cannot Be Destroyed?
If the zeroed village is:
The player’s last (non–World Wonder) village:
The remaining troops disappear once population reaches zero.
Troops in training queues continue to train and are not removed.
A village with an artefact still present:
The village and its troops remain until the artefact is removed.
