Changing password after the ban

Keeping your account secure is essential — especially after a ban related to password sharing or third-party tools. This guide explains when and why you should change your password, and how to keep your avatar safe.

Creating a Strong Password

For security, your password should be unique and difficult to guess.
We recommend using:

  • A mix of letters and numbers

  • Both uppercase and lowercase characters

  • Symbols for added strength

Passwords are case-sensitive, so “Hero123” and “hero123” are different.

If You Were Banned for Scripts & Bots (Third-Party Tools)

If you entered your Travian credentials on an external website or tool, your data may have been used without your consent.
This often causes bans for script or bot use, because such tools access the game automatically.

What to do:

  1. Change your password immediately.

  2. Never enter your Travian username or password on non-Travian websites.

These third-party sites can use your credentials to scan the map, find animals, or villages — and any such activity violates the rules.

Changing your password stops these tools from accessing your avatar again.

If You Were Banned for Password Sharing

If your ban was related to password sharing, the first and most important step is to change your password immediately.
Never share it again, and keep it private to avoid future issues.

Summary

  • Always use a unique, strong password for every server.
  • Never use external websites or tools that request your Travian login.
  • Inform Travian Games Support Team if your dual changes accounts.
