Trapper

The Trapper is a Gaul-only building that can be constructed in any Gaul village. It protects the village by placing hidden traps that capture enemy troops. Captured troops cannot damage your village while imprisoned. Trapped troops continue to consume crop from the village they belong to. A single Trapper can hold up to 400 traps.

Trapper Features

  • Raids cannot free trapped troops. Only a successful normal attack can free them.

  • When enemy troops are freed by a successful attack, all used traps are destroyed.

  • If the trapper owner releases the captives, all destroyed traps can be repaired for free.

  • When troops are freed by an attack, 25% of the trapped troops die.

  • If the troop owner disbands their trapped units, those units die in the traps and do not return home.

  • Releasing or disbanding trapped troops is done via the Rally Point.

  • After upgrading one Trapper to level 20, you may build additional Trappers in the same village.

A table in the original article lists the full construction costs, build times, and maximum trap capacity for each level.
