On annual special servers, the map is divided into 87 regions. Each region may provide ancient powers and contributes to Victory Points (VPs), which determine the winning alliance. Victory Points are stored in villages and can be gained or lost depending on gameplay actions.
Ancient Powers – How They Work
If your alliance controls a region that contains an ancient power, every member can activate that power. To activate it, you need a Treasury level 10 for village-scope powers or level 20 for account-scope powers. You can activate the power from any village, regardless of its location.
Key rules:
You may activate one power per village.
Only one account-wide power can be active at a time.
Each activation lasts 24 hours, no matter the server speed.
You receive one free activation per day.
Additional activations cost:5 Gold for village powers
10 Gold for account powers
A power deactivates if:
You leave your alliance,
You lose the village where you activated it,
Your alliance loses control of the region.
Earning Victory Points
Controlling regions is essential for winning, as each region provides Victory Points daily. The base VP values are:
Unique power: 400 per day
Big power: 1200 per day
Small power: 1000 per day
No power: 2000 or 4000 per day
Actual VP production is adjusted based on region size and power type. Larger regions give more VPs, while regions with special powers—trainer, faster troops, big crannies, eagle eyes, or diet—produce only 1/10 of the normal VP amount.
You can view exact VP values directly on the regional map.
How Victory Points Are Distributed
Victory Points earned by an alliance are distributed among its villages in that region. Each village receives VPs in proportion to its population share, compared to the alliance’s total population in that region.
Important details:
Villages of inactive players (inactive 72+ hours) do not receive VPs. The VPs are instead redistributed among active players.
The alliance with the highest total VPs at the end of the server wins.
Server durations:
x1 speed: 180 days
x2 speed: 120 days
x3 speed: 80 days
How Victory Points Can Move or Be Lost
VPs stay with villages, but villages can change alliances or owners.
Changing Alliances
Leaving an alliance: 50% of the VPs in your villages are lost.
Joining a new alliance: You keep your remaining VPs.
When switching alliances:
Your old alliance loses all your VPs.
Your new alliance gains 50% of your VPs.
Conquering a Village
If the village is conquered inside the same alliance, all VPs stay with the village.
If conquered by a player outside the alliance (even within the same coalition):
25% of the VPs are destroyed.
The new owner receives the village with the remaining 75%.
Destroying a Village
If a village is destroyed, all VPs are lost permanently.
Deleting an Avatar
If a player deletes their avatar, all VPs are deleted, even if the Natars take over the villages.
Natar-held villages never contain Victory Points.
