Your hero gains experience (XP) through battles, adventures, daily quests, tasks, and some items.
When enough XP is collected, your hero levels up and receives 4 additional attribute points to spend.
How to Earn Hero XP
You can gain hero experience from:
Battles (attacking or defending)
Hero Items (specific consumables and equipment)
Leveling Up
Each time your hero reaches the XP threshold for the next level:
You gain 4 new attribute points to assign.
Your hero is fully healed automatically.
Gaining XP in Battles
The amount of XP gained from combat depends directly on enemy troop losses.
Each 1 crop consumption point of a killed enemy unit grants 1 XP to your hero.
Attacking Battles
If your hero participates in the attack, they gain XP equal to the total supply value of all enemy units killed.
You gain this XP even if:
The battle is lost, or
Your hero dies in combat.
Defensive Battles
Defensive XP is divided among all defending heroes based on the proportion of their armies’ total crop consumption compared to the total defense.
This system is similar to how defense ranking points are distributed.
Example 1 – All Heroes Only
If multiple heroes defend without other troops:
Situation: Player A attacks with 10 Theutates Thunders and 10 Phalanxes (total 30 crop supply).
10 defending heroes each have 6 crop supply.
Each hero receives 10% of the total XP (3 XP each).
Example 2 – Mixed Defense
If some defenders send additional troops, XP is split unevenly:
Situation: Same attack (30 crop supply).
Hero 1 defends alone (6 crop supply).
Hero 2 defends with 88 Phalanxes (total 100 crop supply).
Result:
Hero 1 gets 6% XP (2 XP).
Hero 2 gets 94% XP (28 XP).
Mathematical rounding applies to all XP results.
✅ Tip:
Your hero gains the most XP when participating in large battles with high enemy losses. Combine this with Adventures early on to level up quickly and unlock stronger attribute boosts.
