Travian: Legends is available in several game versions and speeds. While the core gameplay remains the same, each version and speed offers a unique experience that can significantly affect your strategy.
Regions
Travian gameworlds are divided into five regions:
International
America
Arabics
Asia
Europe
You’re free to join any region regardless of where you live. Each region offers gameworlds of different speeds and versions, and all gameworlds support every available language.
Game Speed
The speed of a gameworld affects almost every aspect of the game — from troop movement to building time and resource production. Speeds range from the standard x1 to the incredibly fast x10.
The higher the speed, the faster everything happens. However, not all features scale the same way. The tables below show how speed influences different parts of the game.
General
This table shows how construction, troop training, movement, and production scale with speed. It also lists how durations like Beginner’s Protection and Travian Plus are adjusted.
Speed: | X1 | X2 | X3 | X5 | X10 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Troops training time: | Normal | /2 | /3 | /5 | /10 |
Construction time: | Normal | /2 | /3 | /5 | /10 |
Troops speed: | Normal | *2 | *2 | *2 | *4 |
Resource production: | Normal | *2 | *3 | *5 | *10 |
Beginner’s Protection duration: | 5 days + optional 3 days | 3 + 3 | 3 + 3 | 2 + 2 | 1 + 1 |
Travian Plus duration: | 7 days | 3 days | 3 days | 3 days | 3 days |
Resource bonus duration: | 7 days | 3 days | 3 days | 3 days | 3 days |
Duration
This section covers event timings — such as when registration closes, when artefacts appear, and how long game rounds last. Note that faster servers reach artefacts and endgame phases much earlier.
Speed: | X1 | X2 | X3 | X5 | X10 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Registration closes after: | 70 days | 35 days | 28 days | 15 days | 7 days |

Construction plans introduction: | 180th day | 90th day | 60th day | 36th day | 18th day |
Natar WW* finishes after: | 250 days | 160 days | 95 days | 71 days | 35.5 days |
Annual Special duration: | 180 days | 120 days | 80 days | 50 days | 30 days |
*Natars always start building their Wonder of the World when the construction plans appear.
Culture Points
Here you’ll find how Culture Points (formerly labeled CP) scale with game speed. Faster servers require fewer Culture Points for expansion but reduce celebration times and artwork effectiveness.
Speed: | X1 | X2 | X3 | X5 | X10 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Starting Culture Points: | 500 | 250 | 167 | 100 | 50 |
Townhall celebration time: | Normal | Normal | /2 | /2 | /4 |
Townhall small celebration limit: | 500 CP | 500 CP | 250 CP | 250 CP | 125 CP |
Townhall large celebration limit: | 2000 CP | 2000 CP | 1000 CP | 1000 CP | 500 CP |

Artwork CP production: | *1 | *2/3 | *1/2 | *1/3 | *~1/6 |
Artwork limit: | 2000 CP | 1300 CP | 1000 CP | 700 CP | 400 CP |
Artwork usage cooldown: | 24 hours | 24 hours | 12 hours | 12 hours | 6 hours |
Items
This table explains when higher-tier hero items become available and how auction and smelting times shorten on faster worlds.
Speed: | X1 | X2 | X3 | X5 | X10 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Item tier 2 appear after: | 70 days* | 35 days* | 23.3 days* | 14 days* | 7 days* |
Item tier 3 appears after: | 140 days* | 70 days* | 46.6 days* | 28 days* | 14 days* |
Auction duration: | ~24 hours | ~12 hours | ~8 hours | ~4 hours | ~2 hours |
Smelting time: | 24 hours | 24 hours | 12 hours | 12 hours | 6 hours |
* On game worlds with Item Rarities, the appearance of items of better tiers and better rarity is more gradual over the period of the game world and the first items of better quality tiers appear earlier than on regular game worlds.

Available vacation days: | 15 days | 8 days | 5 days | 3 days | 2 days |

Game Versions
Travian: Legends features several game versions, each with different mechanics and goals.
Regular
The classic Travian: Legends experience.
Played on a randomized map.
Artefacts appear mid-round and grant special bonuses.
The endgame begins when construction plans are released.
The goal: build the Wonder of the World to level 100 with your alliance to win.
Annual Special
A special version released each September with unique rules and features.
Uses a map of ancient Europe.
Victory is based on Victory Points, not a Wonder of the World.
Artefact-like effects are gained by controlling regions.
Game ends on a set date, and the alliance with the most points wins.
New features often debut in Annual Specials before appearing in regular gameworlds.
New Year Special
Launched each January, these gameworlds combine elements from previous special versions into a new, themed experience.
Travian Tournament
A prestigious competition for experienced players.
Consists of Qualification Rounds and a Final.
The Finals determine the overall Tournament winners and Hall of Fame entries.

Occasionally, unique gameworlds are launched with features chosen by the community. These often mix gameplay mechanics from different versions to create experimental setups.
Local Gameworlds
Special servers created for specific language communities.
Often include unique medals and community-decided features.
Only available in the local language(s).
Number of Tribes
The number of available tribes depends on the gameworld type:
6 tribes: Romans, Teutons or Vikings, Gauls, Huns, Egyptians, Spartans (in special gameworlds)
5 tribes: Romans, Teutons, Gauls, Huns, Egyptians (common in international worlds)
3 tribes: Romans, Teutons, Gauls (the traditional setup)
The Tribes and Their Advantages
✅ Tip: If you’re new to Travian, start with a regular x1 or x2 speed gameworld. Once you’re comfortable, try faster servers or special events for new challenges.
