On annual special servers, the Travian: Legends world takes place on a map of Ancient Europe, divided into 87 regions.
Each region can provide Ancient Powers and Victory Points (VPs) — both of which are key to winning the server.
How Regions and Powers Work
Each region can be controlled by one alliance at a time.
The alliance that controls a region gains access to that region’s Ancient Power, if it has one.
Any player in the controlling alliance can activate the Ancient Power by using a Treasury in one of their villages.
| Power Type | Required Treasury Level | Effect Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Small Power | Level 10 | Village-scope |
| Large Power | Level 20 | Account-scope |
You can activate a power in any of your villages — it doesn’t need to be in the same region that holds the power.
Activating Ancient Powers
You can have one active power per village, but only one account-wide power for your entire account.
Once activated, the power lasts for 24 hours, regardless of server speed.
If your alliance still controls the region, the power can be reactivated.
The first activation per day is free.
Each additional activation costs 5 Gold (village powers) or 10 Gold (account powers).
When Powers Deactivate
An Ancient Power will automatically deactivate if:
You leave your alliance,
You lose the village where the power was activated, or
Your alliance loses control of the region.
Victory Points (VPs)
Controlling regions isn’t just about powers — it’s also how alliances earn Victory Points.
Victory Points determine the winning alliance at the end of the server.
Each day, an alliance controlling a region earns Victory Points.
The exact number depends on the type and size of the region:
| Region Type | Base Victory Points per Day |
|---|---|
| Unique Power | 400 VP/day |
| Big Power | 1200 VP/day |
| Small Power | 1000 VP/day |
| No Power | 2000 – 4000 VP/day |
However:
Some powerful regions (such as those with Trainer, Faster Troops, Big Crannies, Eagle Eyes, or Diet) produce only 1/10 of their usual VP value.
Larger regions usually generate more VPs overall.
You can view the exact VP values for each region on the Regional Map.
How Victory Points Are Distributed
Victory Points earned from a region are distributed among that alliance’s villages in the same region, based on population share:
A larger village earns a bigger share of the VPs.
The total alliance VP gain remains the same — only the distribution changes.
Inactive players (inactive for 72 hours or more) are excluded from VP distribution, and their share is given to active members instead.
Game Duration and Winning Condition
x1 speed servers: 180 days
x2 speed servers: 120 days
x3 speed servers: 80 days
At the end of the game, the alliance with the most Victory Points wins the server.
Gaining and Losing Victory Points
Victory Points are stored in villages, not players, and they cannot be transferred — but they can move between alliances or be destroyed depending on events.
1. Changing Alliance
Leaving your alliance: 50% of your village’s VPs are lost.
Joining a new alliance: No VPs lost, but your previous alliance loses your full VP value.
Your new alliance gains 50% of your stored VPs.
2. Conquering a Village
If the same alliance conquers the village: All VPs are kept.
If conquered by a different alliance (even within the same coalition):
25% VPs are destroyed
The new owner keeps the remaining 75% VPs
3. Destroying a Village
If a village is destroyed, all its Victory Points are permanently lost.
4. Deleting an Account
If a player deletes their account, all their Victory Points are deleted, even if their villages later become Natarian.
Natar villages never hold or generate Victory Points.
