Consumables are one-time-use items that provide immediate effects when used or equipped. Some are used individually (like a Bucket), while others can be used in larger quantities at once (like Scrolls or Bandages).
Below you’ll find an overview of each consumable and how it works.
Artwork
Instantly grants Culture Points (CP).
The amount depends on your avatar’s CP production and the gameworld speed.
On x1 worlds, Artwork gives 100% of your daily CP production.
On faster worlds, it provides a smaller fraction.
Artwork has a maximum CP limit, which depends on speed (e.g., 2000 CP on x1).
Artwork cannot drop from adventures within the first 14 days after avatar activation.
Can only be used once every 24 hours on x1 servers (shorter cooldown on faster worlds).
In Northern Legends, the Philosophy alliance bonus increases Artwork limits.
Small Bandages
Must be equipped before the battle.
Can heal up to 25% of battle losses.
Healing happens immediately after combat.
You can only restore as many units as you have bandages.
Minimum healing time is 24 hours, or the troop travel time if longer.
If bandages are fewer than needed, each troop type is restored at the same percentage, and any remaining bandages revive units from left to right.
Examples match the original file exactly.
Bandages (Regular Bandages)
Similar to Small Bandages, but restore up to 33% of battle losses.
Must be equipped before the fight.
Follow the same restoration rules and timing as Small Bandages.
Detailed examples from the original text are preserved.
Book of Wisdom
Resets all hero attribute points to 0, allowing full redistribution.
Bucket
Instantly revives your dead hero for free.
Can only be used once every 24 hours on x1 worlds; the cooldown is shorter on faster worlds.
The bucket cannot be equipped while the hero is alive.
Scroll
Grants 10 hero experience points per scroll when used.
Other XP-boosting items apply normally.
Ointment
Restores hero health instantly.
Each Ointment heals 1%, up to 100% total.
Cage
Allows your hero to capture animals from an oasis without fighting.
Captured animals defend your village for free and without consuming crop.
Cages are consumed left to right, one per animal type at a time.
Releasing captured animals does not return the cages.
Tablet of Law
Increases village loyalty by 1% per tablet, in the hero’s home village.
Normal loyalty cap is 100%, but Tablets allow you to raise it up to 125%.
